NAE Statement on The SUCCEED Act

Following the introduction of Senator Tillis’, Senator Lankford’s, and Senator Hatch’s SUCCEED Act (Solution for Undocumented Children through Careers Employment Education and Defending Our Nation), which protects undocumented young people who came to this country as children, New American Economy President John Feinblatt issued the following statement:

“This is a pragmatic approach that gets Congress closer to yes on immigration reform,” said John Feinblatt, President of New American Economy. “Talented, hard-working young immigrants brought to our country as children have earned the chance to pursue the American Dream, and it makes economic sense to invest in their futures.”
